Family has lived in house for approximately
12 years. Couple lives in home with disabled
daughter, two teenage sons and one grandson. There
are no pets in the home. The family is of Christian
background and does not use / allow Ouija boards, or
spiritual readings to take place in their home.
However, it should be noted that daughter shows
characteristics of ESP capabilities and claims that
dead spirits try to communicate with her. The family
does not believe their physical or spiritual safety
is at risk at this time.
The home was built around 1973
with no additions made to the residence since it was
purchased, although interior renovations took place
in 1990. The previous owners bought the home as a
fixer-upper with the intent to sell. It was noted
that the previous owners audibly fought with each
other frequently. The previous owners’ son
accidentally cut four of his toes off while mowing
the lawn; however no other tragedies have been
associated with the residence or surrounding
property
On April 23, 1974 around 2 p.m.
a tornado did touch down in this area, causing
extensive property damage but no casualties. Civil
war and Trail of Tears events also occurred in this
area.
Paranormal Activity Reported
Family members indicate they have seen apparitions,
shadows, orbs, outlines of figures on the walls, and
something running across hallway. This activity has
occurred throughout the house, particularly in the
hallway. The activity has occurred for an extended
time, and recent occurrences have been noted.
They have smelled strong cigarettes in the bedroom
(no one smokes in the home), gasoline & Pine Sol in
the bedroom, bleach, and the scent of perfume /
scented lavender powder. Items belonging to one of
the teenage sons also seems to be moved. Sensations
of extreme hot or cold have also been observed by
the family. Additionally, family members have the
sensation of something sitting in the back seat of
their car, and the daughter’s hair is pulled
inexplicably.
